True Nature Wellness is hosting a meditation vs. motion workshop on December 21st, which is also the Winter Equinox. We will celebrate the return of the sun during our one hour event, which will sooth your mind and alleviate any tension or stress you may be experiencing. Here, we will talk about each component of our workshop. We invite you to join us at our studio in Sandusky and we are always available for you to contact us with any questions.
Meditation in Motion
Meditation in Motion

Tuning
To begin, we will tune in to prepare for our journey. We will take time to focus on our breathwork and connect with the present moment. Together, we’ll move throughout our mat in a gentle flow, opening up all parts of the body to release any tension or stored energy.

Savasana
After we have tuned in, we will move into savasana (“Corpse Pose”), which is a resting pose. This is a time to just let go and allow the body to relax. During this time, your heart and breathing will slow down, allowing the mind and body to remain in a peaceful state. Finally, we will slowly come back into our bodies and end with a few deep breaths.

Body Scan Yoga Nidra
The practice of yoga nidra meditation is a wonderful way to reduce stress and improve your overall health. Yoga nidra is a form of guided meditation that helps you achieve mindfulness through deep relaxation. It's a great meditation for those who have trouble falling asleep or need to remove all of their negative energy.

Sound
To close our evening, we will immerse ourselves in 30-40 minutes of energy healing sounds. These sounds will help to release any residual energy from the class and will leave you feeling refreshed, renewed, and deeply relaxed.
This workshop is perfect for anyone who wants to learn more about meditation or wants to deepen their practice. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced meditator, you will benefit from this soothing workshop. Reserve your spot for our meditation vs. motion workshop at True Nature Wellness, held on December 21st!
